Job description

Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Imaging Systems Administrator to support and optimize imaging technologies, including PACS, RIS, and other clinical applications. This role combines healthcare application support with hands-on systems administration and server support, partnering with clinical staff, IT teams, and third-party vendors to maintain a reliable imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support PACS, RIS, cardiology, and other clinical imaging systems.
  • Coordinate infrastructure installations, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance with internal IT teams and vendors.
  • Monitor system performance, backups, and infrastructure health to ensure optimal availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, server, and infrastructure issues.
  • Support implementation, maintenance, and optimization of healthcare applications.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare security and privacy standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification.
  • 5+ years of systems administration experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong experience supporting PACS, RIS, cardiology imaging systems, and related clinical applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, server installations, upgrades, and support.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and networking fundamentals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Compensation: Up to $140,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
