Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nursing Director ensures high quality, patient-centered nursing care through 24/7 responsibility for the operational performance and staffing of the unit/department, in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Nursing Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other clinical specialty - required
  • Master's Degree - preferred
  • 3 + years of applicable experience - required
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse or other licensed clinician in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation - required
  • BLS - required

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
