Job Description

The Systems Administrator/Systems Engineer provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). You will support NETCOM in operational and technical engineering of desktop collaboration and productivity services which includes voice, video, electronic mail, messaging/chat, data storage, documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. architecture in the Army Enterprise. We are looking to hire a fullโ€‘time Productivity Services Engineer to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Responsibilities and skills
  • Provide support to operational organizations supporting RFCs and IAVA compliance.
  • Support reโ€‘engineering efforts required by integration to GNE AD, and other systems external to Army 365 via approved data standards. These systems include but are not limited to Remedy/ITSM, NetMan, HBSS, ACAS/REM/Retina, and DoD VMS.
  • Participate in strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews of NetOps capabilities to validate enterprise approach and associated work products.
  • Provide technical integration, engineering, test and analysis and operational support to identify interoperability issues related to enterprise capabilities or network design, Active Directory, identify management, as it relates to Tier III problem resolution.
  • Manage incidents and problems; confirm validity of issues and problems; seek known solutions related to more complex issues.
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Enterprise products and tools
    • Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
  • Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Current understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 8 โ€“ 10 years of experience in information technology field
  • DoD 8570.1โ€‘M Certification: IAT Level II Certification
  • Computing Environment Certification, Microsoft Associate Certification (or equivalent)
  • Clearance: Secret (Company may sponsor)
