Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that many professionals seek. The therapist will conduct sessions via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring all communications and interactions with clients are confidential and HIPAA compliant. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to discern the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, tailoring your approach to meet individual client needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through a collaborative process with clients, ensuring that therapy aligns with their personal goals and preferences.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective therapy for mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and responsible self-care strategies, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Engage in interprofessional collaboration with psychiatrists and medical staff to provide integrated care to clients.
  • Keep up with the latest research in the field of mood disorders, continually refining your approach based on evidence and best practices.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, sessions, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
