Job description

Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

Schedule Information: In-person instruction Monday and Wednesday evenings, Fall 2026

Job Description: Teaching BIO 230 Microbiology; in-person, lecture and laboratory sessions

Education Requirements: Master's degree in Biology with experience teaching microbiology; or a master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in biological science, plus experience teaching microbiology..

Experience Requirements: Recent college-level teaching experience in both lecture and lab environments, and ability to work with course management systems such as Blackboard are the preferred qualifications.

* Employment is contingent upon Criminal Background Check.

* Employment sponsorship is not available.

Applicable Benefits: We offer a competitive, semester by semester adjunct pay, with some tuition waivers available after 3 semesters; sick and personal business leave; and a comprehensive Adjunct Faculty Development Program. 

The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
