Position Responsibilities:
Conceive and design innovative consumer products and drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. Perform test validation of our next generation devices. Identify and validate product risks and work with design teams to mitigate them. Define test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability. Experimental design and execution. Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms, products under development and products in the field.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) performing reliability engineering for consumer electronics; (2) utilizing reliability statistics or tests; and (3) an understanding of consumer electronics to influence design for reliability.
