Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy college student to join the E-Series engineering team as a part-time student contractor. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our datacenter, executing tests, and writing automation scripts, which is integral to the E-Series product line. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, being part of an engineering team, and understand the intricacies of product development and deployment in a real-world setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with scrum teams and test engineers to construct and maintain hardware configurations.
  • Assist in validating customer use cases and ensuring the seamless integration of new features.
  • Participate in the management of our lab environment, including equipment setup and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of our automated testing processes.
  • Execute manual and automated tests.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.

Job Requirements
  • Proficiency or familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash
  • Familiarity with programming tools like Git, Jenkins, BitBucket, and VSCode
  • Knowledge of monitoring and configuration management tools, such as Ansible
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamicwork environment
