Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Junior Asset Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves maintaining accountability and control of IT hardware and virtual assets, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and lifecycle management while collaborating with multiple teams.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain and oversee IT hardware and virtual asset baselines.
โ€ข Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for IT hardware.
โ€ข Partner with Property, Purchasing, Asset Management, and Receiving teams to keep configuration records accurate.
โ€ข Refine IT asset management processes, procedures, and documentation.
โ€ข Conduct audits and reconcile inventories to ensure compliance.
โ€ข Support contract renewals for IT support agreements.
โ€ข Coordinate proper excessing of hardware assets with the Property team.
โ€ข Assist in CM integration across multiple enterprise groups.
