Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is launching a Blackjack Dealer Academy for individuals interested in building a career in the gaming industry. 

Join the Blackjack Academy at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati where you will learn to become a Table Games Dealer.

Paid Training and up to a $2,500 Bonus

The Blackjack Dealer Academy prepares you for a fulfilling career as a Table Games Dealer, a role that combines precision, guest engagement, and the ability to create exciting experiences for our guest.

 No prior casino experience is required. We provide the training and you bring the personality!

What you will do as a Dealer:

  • Deal assigned table games accurately and professionally
  • Deliver engaging, high level guest service while creating memorable experiences
  • Maintain game integrity and follow all gaming regulations and procedures
  • Help create a fun, exciting, and welcoming atmosphere on the casino floor

Work Environment

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati offers an exciting, fast-paced environment. This role may involve:

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, elevated noise levels, and crowded public setting.
  • Frequent interaction with guests and team members.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Minimum requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Successfully pass a basic math assessment
  • Pass required background check and drug screening
  • Successfully obtain and renew Ohio gaming license as needed

Compensation & Bonus 

  • Paid training during Dealer Academy 
  • Average Dealer earnings: $30 /hour
  • Bonus up to $2,500
    • $1,000 after 6 months 
    • Additional $1,500 at 1 year anniversary 
  • Ohio Gaming license costs covered by Hard Rock

Blackjack Academy Details

  • Start Date: June 15, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday / 6:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Class Duration: 8-10 Weeks

*Upon successful completion of the class, you will be offered a role as a Part-time Table Games Dealer for Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati. Successful completion includes attending class in it's entirety, obtaining Ohio CGE license and passing the Blackjack dealer audition. 

  • If offer is extended and accepted 
    • Eligible team member will be required to learn all carnival games within their first 90 days as a condition of employment.
    • Eligible team member will be required to learn Baccarat within 1 year as a condition of employment.
