Assistant Manager- Coastal Vision - Harbour View

General Job Description & Responsibilities

This is a position that carries a great deal of broad responsibility for ensuring the highest-quality client service and patient care at the practice. You will help to oversee other staff to ensure an exceptional client experience. Primary responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of the practice, including:

  • opening and closing
  • patient scheduling
  • patient/client relations
  • quality assurance
  • optical sales
  • mentoring and coaching others
  • guiding team to ensure excellent customer service and employee performance
  • serving as a role model

Experience & Skills

Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are also critical to this role.
You will work closely with the manager to ensure smooth practice processes, select eyewear, troubleshoot patient/client issues, and fit lenses. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience and be:

  • highly-organized
  • extremely dependable
  • experienced in optical practice operations
  • experienced in optical sales
  • familiarity with optical/eyewear/fashion trends
  • able to think and act quickly on your feet and identify emerging issues before they become "issues"
