NOW HIRING: ON-CALL EVENT SERVERS & BARTENDERS
Harbor View Hotel | Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard
Join the Harbor View Hotel Events Team!
Harbor View Hotel is looking for experienced, professional, and dependable Event Servers and Bartenders to join our team on an on-call basis.
Our Events Team helps create memorable experiences for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, special events, and other functions throughout the season.
What You'll Do
Event Servers
  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests
  • Set up event spaces, tables, stations, and service areas
  • Serve passed hors d'oeuvres, plated meals, buffets, and other food service
  • Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized event space
  • Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
  • Work closely with the Events and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless guest experience

Event Bartenders
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Provide professional and personable bar service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
  • Verify guest identification and follow all applicable alcohol service requirements
  • Assist with bar setup and breakdown
  • Monitor guest needs and provide exceptional service throughout the event
What We're Looking For
  • Previous serving, bartending, banquet, or event experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move event equipment as needed
