As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Harbor Therapy Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients and developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitating couples therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for open communication, and providing strategies for resolving conflicts and improving relationships.
• Individual therapy sessions with family members, focusing on issues such as communication challenges, grief, and trauma recovery, ensuring a holistic approach to family health.
• Offering specialized support for a range of challenges including, but not limited to, alcohol abuse, blended family dynamics, job stress, and medical issues.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to continually enhance treatment protocols and contribute to best practices within the organization.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation compliant with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of current therapeutic techniques and advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Your patient population will include diverse individuals and families requiring specialized support, including adults and children/adolescents navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your expertise will be essential in providing culturally competent care to foster healing and growth.

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related human services field from an accredited institution.

While recent graduates are welcome, candidates with prior experience in clinical settings or relevant specialization are preferred. Experience in using telehealth platforms to deliver therapy will be an advantage as we incorporate technology into our practices.

At Harbor Therapy Center, we offer a competitive compensation package with earnings ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits include:
