Happy Paws Pet Resort in Orlando, FL is actively seeking to hire an experienced, part-time dog groomer with weekend availability!

ABOUT HAPPY PAWS PET RESORT

Happy Paws Pet Resort is a premier doggy day and overnight resort located in Orlando, FL just 2 miles south of UCF. We provide daycare, grooming, training, and boarding (dogs and cats). Happy Paws strives to create a fun, stress-free environment for all pets in our care, and to give pet parents peace of mind while they're away.

Our Pet Stylists have passion, patience and love for dogs, ensuring a positive grooming experience each time. They must have excellent communication skills, being able to take instructions from clients and make recommendations, as well as communicating any issues (nicks, irritations, behavioral issues, etc.) to management. Pet stylists are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the grooming room and equipment, as well as keep track of inventory.

As a Pet Stylist at Happy Paws Pet Resort you must meet the following requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Certification from an accredited school
  • Ability to groom 5-8 dogs a day
  • Skilled in breed profiles and dispositions, skin and hair types
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Provide high-quality grooming services
  • Have a positive and professional attitude
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. dogs into elevated tub
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Be able to communicate with staff, management & clients
  • Weekend availability
