Professional dog walkers often encounter challenges such as managing dogs with different temperaments, handling inclement weather, and coordinating multiple client schedules. Effective communication with pet owners and continuous observation of each dog's behavior are key to maintaining safety and client satisfaction. Utilizing scheduling apps and maintaining flexibility can help streamline daily routines, while ongoing training in animal behavior ensures a positive walking experience for both dogs and walker.

Passionately Pets

Job description

Imagine this:

It’s late morning. Instead of heading into an office, you grab your keys and head out for your first visit of the day. A golden retriever greets you at the door, tail wagging like you’re their favorite person (you are).

You spend the next 25 minutes on a relaxed walk through a quiet Alexandria neighborhood. Fresh air, sunshine, and a happy dog—it’s a pretty great way to work.

Your next visit? A pair of dogs who need play time, lunch and a little attention. Then another dog walk. Each visit is different, but they all have one thing in common: you’re making a real difference for pets and their owners.

That’s what it’s like working with Passionately Pets.

The Role
We’re hiring midday dog walkers to join our team.

The Basics

  • Weekday availability (10am–3pm, M-F)
  • Reliable transportation + smartphone
  • Love for animals and reliability

Pay & Perks

  • $24–$28/hour + tips
  • Flexible, part-time schedule
  • Active, outdoor work

If that sounds like your kind of day, we’d love to hear from you.
