Job description

About the Role: SkyShare is hiring experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to support our growing, mixed fleet of turbine aircraft. These roles are critical to maintaining fleet availability, safety, and operational excellence across our SLC and OGD maintenance bases.
This position is ideal for technicians who are confident working across multiple aircraft platforms, value clean documentation and regulatory compliance, and bring a steady, solutions-focused presence to the hangar.


The Mission for this Position: Your mission is to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and document aircraft maintenance and alterations in accordance with 14 CFR regulations, manufacturer guidance, and SkyShare’s General Maintenance Manual.
You will perform hands-on maintenance across a premium fleet that includes Gulfstream, Embraer, Pilatus, Citation, and other turbine platforms. Your work will directly support fleet airworthiness, operational reliability, and a safe, organized, and efficient maintenance operation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine and turboprop aircraft
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and avionics discrepancies using sound judgment and a solutions-focused approach
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with 14 CFR regulations and SkyShare standards
  • Accurately document maintenance actions using digital tracking and scheduling systems
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, and Parts to optimize aircraft readiness and turnaround time
  • Provide maintenance support at SLC, OGD, and remote on-call locations as required

Qualifications:

  • Education & Licensing
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid, current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
    • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred, but not required
    • Factory training on Gulfstream, Embraer, Pilatus, or Citation aircraft preferred, but not required
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining turbine and turboprop aircraft
    • Strong understanding of 14 CFR Part 135 regulations and aviation safety standards
    • Experienced with maintenance tracking programs (e.g., Traxxall, Ebis) and skilled in using digital platforms for documentation and compliance
  • Skills & Attributes

Salary, Schedule, and Perks:

  • Salary: $40-$47 per hour, DOE
    • Overtime may be required based on operational timelines and fleet needs
    • Offering a $5k sign-on bonus for direct hires (not applicable to recruiting agency placements)
