Job description

Hands‑On Growth Internship

Location: Flexible / Hybrid (Bay Area preferred)

Start: Immediate

Time Commitment: Approx 20 hours (Flexible), with some synchronous availability between 7am – 4pm PT

About Wizerr

Named one of the Top 30 Most Promising Generative AI Startups of 2025 by NVIDIA, Wizerr is a promising startup building an AI platform for the electronics industry – offering tools that help engineers and technical teams make better decisions, faster.

Behind almost every physical product (phones, cars, medical devices, hardware startups) is a huge amount of complex technical information: component datasheets, specifications, compatibility rules, and supply constraints. Today, much of this engineering and purchasing/sourcing work is slow, manual, and fragmented across PDFs, spreadsheets, and websites.

Wizerr is changing that by using AI to organize, understand, and surface technical information so teams can confidently choose the right components and move faster from idea to product. Work that previously took weeks now takes teams minutes.

About The Internship

Most internships are about observing. This one is about building.

For our second year, we are opening our growth internship for an individual who wants to learn how real companies grow – not through coursework or simulations, but by owning a concrete, high‑impact business outcome.

You’ll work directly with our founding team, experiment with creative growth strategies, and see firsthand how products find customers in a complex, technical industry.

Few internships offer real, hands‑on learning in the industry from day 1. With Wizerr, learn how growth actually happens at the intersection of product, sales, and AI tech development.

The Mission

This internship is outcome‑driven and with methods intentionally open‑ended.

At Wizerr, we are a strong believer of self‑driven processes, leaving you the creative freedom to reach the desired outcomes however you see best.

Simply, your mission is to:

  • Set up 5 in‑person customer meetings at an upcoming industry conference.
  • Set up 10 additional high‑quality customer meetings during the upcoming month.

How you achieve this is up to you. We care about results, not rigid playbooks. That said, we are here to support you with mentorship, access to tools, guidance on our existing processes and beyond.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and research potential customers aligned with our target audience.
  • Design and test creative outreach strategies across different channels.
  • Qualify interest to ensure meetings are relevant and high‑quality.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with prospective customers.
  • Work closely with the founding team to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Learn how product, growth, and customer needs intersect in a technical industry.
What We’ll Provide
  • Free pass to DesignCon 2026, with an optional opportunity to join our team at our company booth, meet customers, and observe live customer conversations.
  • Hands‑on exposure to how growth works at industry conferences and within the electronics ecosystem.
  • Direct mentorship and collaboration with the founding team with fast feedback loops.
  • Real exposure to customer conversations and growth strategy decision‑making.
  • Access to marketing and sales tools needed to execute your ideas.
  • Guidance on our core messaging, positioning, and target audiences.

Please note: we likely won’t be able to cover travel or accommodation expenses for the conference. For that reason, this role is best suited to someone based in or near the California Bay Area.

Who This Is For
  • Are interested in product growth, startups, or go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Have a strong understanding of electronics engineering, or are motivated to quickly learn how the electronics industry functions.
  • Are comfortable navigating technical concepts and industry‑specific language.
  • Enjoy taking initiative and figuring things out without strict instructions.
  • Care deeply about outcomes and impact.
  • Location is flexible, however you must have some availability between 7am – 4pm PT for synchronous check‑ins and team meetings. This can fit in around coursework & classes.
  • An electronics background is not strictly required, but this role does involve engaging with a technical industry – expect a learning curve if this isn’t your area of expertise.
What Comes Next

If the internship goes well and there’s a strong mutual fit, there may be an opportunity to transition into a paid position with the team.
