A Materials Handler at White Cap...

  • Verifies loads for delivery to ensure customers have the correct product in a safe and professional manner.

  • Loads trucks and performs truck inspections.

  • Picks warehouse orders.

  • Conducts DOT compliance audits.

  • Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Can pull orders off of picking ticket
  • Spanish/English would be a good qualification
  • Product knowledge of hardware, power tools, basic materials
  • Forklift experience required
  • 1-2 years of experience pulling orders
  • Pick, pull, and stage truck orders while meeting the daily minimum of 50 line items per day
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (75+ pounds) or awkward.
  • Typically located in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
