Job Summary for Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team to support our Receiving team with integration into Shipping operations. This role involves handling materials, operating equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring precise and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. A strong focus on accuracy and efficiency is essential, as well as the ability to lift to 45 lbs unassisted and 75 lbs with assistance.


Job Description for Material Handler

  • Package wafers, parts, and materials for shipment with accuracy and care.
  • Prepare all required shipping documentation, including labels, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Manage and track inventory of finished wafers in storage to ensure proper stock levels and organization.
  • Receive incoming materials using 
  • mobile scanners, desktop systems, and SAP; validate and route items to appropriate departments.
  • Deliver received materials to administrative areas and other internal destinations.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional material needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.


Skills Required for Material Handler

  • 2+ years of Shipping/Receiving or material handling experience (preferred).
  • Experience operating forklifts (preferred).
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs unassisted and 75 lbs assisted.

Skills & Knowledge for Material Handler

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with UPS Worldship software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software (preferred).
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with 100% accuracy.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements for Material Handler

  • Heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs assisted).
  • Standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
