Shift: First (8:30am - 5:00pm, M-F)

Hourly Wage: $21 - $24 per hour based on experience

Manufacturing Material Handler Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Material Handler, you will Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the accuracy of raw material and finished goods inventory including quantity, storage location, material grade and dimensions.


Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Material Handler

  • Material Handling: Receive, inspect, store, pull, and stage materials for fabrication.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Verify documentation, match packing slips, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Safety Compliance: Handle HAZCOM/HAZMAT materials per guidelines.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and stage materials based on FIFO and production schedules.

Requirements

  •  High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience. 
  • Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Ability to understand drawing and blueprints.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and use various hand tools.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.


Preferred

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Visual ERP experience.
  • Data Link experience.


Work Environment Manufacturing Material Handler

  • This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • The position involves repetitive tasks and manual labor including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
