Job description

Job Title: Material Handler I - A Location: Kent, WA A shift: Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm Type: Contract / On-site Compensation: starting at $32 and up to $35 per hour

Responsibilities • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects, and assist in root cause analysis with problem-solving skills. • Properly operate heavy equipment, including PIT equipment/forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, following safety procedures and maintenance practices. • Receive shipments by unloading deliveries from carriers and inspecting packages for compliance with SOP standards. • Conduct quality control checks on incoming parts, reviewing requirements and processing accordingly. • Document receipts accurately using tools and equipment to upload, store, and close out work orders or receipts. • Perform data entry within inventory management systems, navigating modules and inputting data from physical deliveries. • Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout the workflow. • Sort and stage packages, moving containers securely to prevent loss within the fulfillment process. • Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOPs to facilitate workflow analysis. • Properly store parts, conducting audits and using good judgment to ensure compliance with storage procedures.

Requirements • 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including inventory management and receiving functions. • Strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE and participating in safety training. • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
