This role is not a full Starbucks supervisor position. It does not independently own staffing, scheduling, formal performance management or full shift deployment. The team member serves as a trusted on-shift standards resource, escalates concerns to the appropriate leader and helps keep both BevMo! and Starbucks operations ready for the next day.

What You'll Do

Overnight Key Holder and BevMo! Operations

  • Act as the on-site key holder during assigned overnight hours in the absence of store management.

  • Maintain a visible, calm and accountable presence; respond appropriately to unusual events and escalate safety, security, staffing or operational concerns.

  • Support customers and delivery operations with helpful, accurate service, including product guidance when needed.

  • Follow age-verification requirements and all applicable alcohol-sale policies without exception.

  • Maintain store readiness and cleanliness across the sales floor, stockroom, lockers, restrooms and shared work areas.

  • Support inventory activities, including replenishment, counts, discrepancy identification and organized storage.

Starbucks Operations and Standards Leadership

  • Work primarily within the Starbucks operation during designated overnight hours, preparing beverages and food items accurately, efficiently and to recipe and presentation standards.

  • Model Starbucks and Gopuff values, routines and service expectations while maintaining a positive, respectful work environment.

  • Complete assigned Starbucks opening, closing, cleaning, restocking, dating, rotation, inventory and readiness tasks.

  • Monitor product availability and condition; identify out-of-stock, quality, equipment or inventory issues and communicate them promptly to the Site Leader or designated Starbucks leader.

  • Maintain required logs, checklists and operational records accurately and on time.

  • Help ensure the Starbucks workspace is safe, organized, stocked and prepared for the incoming daypart and leadership team.

Role Boundaries

  • Supports task coordination within assigned work, but does not own labor planning, schedules or full cafe shift deployment.

  • Escalates material food-safety, security, employee-relations, equipment and service concerns to the designated manager.

  • May perform other key-holder, retail or Starbucks duties based on business needs and completed training.

What You'll Bring
  • 1+ year of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, cafe, military or a comparable fast-paced environment; prior key-holder or informal leadership experience preferred.

  • Starbucks, licensed-store or other high-volume cafe experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to become fully trained and certified on required Starbucks beverage, food-safety and operating standards.

  • Food-handler certification required where applicable; ServSafe certification preferred.

  • Basic math skills and demonstrated accuracy with cash handling.

  • A welcoming, team-oriented approach and the confidence to provide clear, respectful, standards-based guidance.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes consistently.

  • Ability to learn and use current store, delivery and cafe technology.

  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate or ask for support.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule and Physical Requirements
  • Regular overnight availability, including weekends and holidays; schedule may flex based on business needs.
  • Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to remain active throughout the shift and move between the BevMo! sales floor, stockroom and Starbucks workspace.

  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
