Intern/Spa Attendant Opportunities Now Available at Hand & Stone!

- Location: Hand and Stone Midlothian


The Intern/Spa Attendant position is a critical part of the service team and the success of the spa on a daily basis! This role is a key step in your education. You will have an opportunity to work alongside licensed massage therapist professionals to gain industry experience within a busy spa environment to help you learn the business and prepare for your future success in the massage profession.

Along with the daily work assignments, you will have the ability to begin your training for Hand & Stone specific services with our lead therapist and trainers. You will be assigned a mentor to help guide you through the daily operations of the spa, the Hand and Stone training programs, and help support your education.


Key Benefits of the Intern/Spa Attendant Role

Key Daily Job Duties include:

  • Maintain stock in all treatment rooms
  • Assisting service providers prepare rooms between services
  • Assist with the washing, folding and storage of towels and face cradle covers, etc.
  • Organizing and storing sheet bags for safety
  • Monitoring of common areas like restrooms and break rooms to maintain cleanliness and proper supplies
  • Checking and refilling enhancement supplies for massage services
  • Stanitizing walls, counters, cabinets equipment and fans in unused treatment rooms
  • Maintain break room supplies and communicate to Manager any supplies needed
