Job Responsibilities 
  • Patterning of old upholstery, marking and sewing new material
  • Removal of worn upholstery and covering, webbing, padding, etc. from workpieces using hand and power tools
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Cleans and maintains work area
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Reads and follows work order instructions and quality methods to ensure consistency and high quality of work
Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience and knowledge of working with upholstery
  • Experience with cutting, stretching and upholstering boat bucket seats, lounge seats, bench seats, chair covers, canvas covers, Bimini tops, etc.
  • Ability to stand and move about, as required, for up to eight hours per day
  • Must be dependable and have the ability to complete duties within given time restraints
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail with excellent visual judgment to notice errors and/or defects and ensure high quality of work
  • Must have proper transportation to/from work.
