Seasonal Operations Associate I - Day Shift
Position Summary
Johnny's is currently seeking a Seasonal Operations Associates I for our Weekday Shift. This position will primarily be worked in the Seed Packing department but may be required to cross-train in the Shipping/Warehouse department when business needs arise. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills.
This is a seasonal business, so hours may change during peak times. The usual hours for the Weekday Shift are Monday through Friday, from 5:50 am to 2:20 pm. During the busiest period, overtime will be required.
Starting pay for the Weekday Shift is $17.51 per hour.
Seasonal Employee Benefits
This position is Seasonal and will end based on a season-end date or an agreed-upon end date. All seasonal employees who qualify will be eligible for an "End of Season Bonus" for up to $750.00!

Position Responsibilities
Seed Packing functions may include:
You will pack seed into commercial and consumer sizes using various hand or mechanical means available. Being comfortable working in a repetitive process environment and having the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential. Basic computer skills are necessary. Familiarity with converting ounces/pounds to grams is required. Tasks also include assembling kits and products, and processing bulk seed orders for commercial purposes, weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
Shipping and Warehouse functions may include:
You will learn to perform various tasks in the Shipping and Warehouse functions. These tasks include locating incoming materials in various stockrooms, retrieving materials using inventory systems, rearranging materials, shrink-wrapping, and labeling. You may also need to assist the receiver with sampling, labeling, or receiving; support cycle counters with locating and weighing. Additionally, you should report any problems or shortages to your supervisor or Lead, support daily order shipments by gathering, checking, packing, shipping, stocking, and performing other duties as needed. You will use handheld units for accurate inventory picking and tracking and prepare inventory for the shipping department.
You will have the desire to maintain a balanced work environment by working efficiently and accurately while keeping the workspace clean and safe.
