Job description

Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Shipping and packing opportunity in Braselton. As a Shipping and Packing associate, you will be responsible for locating product on the warehouse floor and packaging. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Shift: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Pay: $17.00/hr.
Job Summary:
Utilize order pick lists to locate materials for orders and bring them to a designated shipping area. This person must follow established procedures. This position requires lifting, understanding written instructions, ability to count and clearly communicate effectively with others.
Responsibilities:
Utilize order pick lists to locate and pull material.
Utilizes a manual buckler.
Inspect all pulled materials to ensure quality.
Ensure material is properly labeled and in good condition.
Bring pulled materials to instructed areas as instructed on pick lists.
Neatly and properly stage material, palletize and wrap using a variety of hand tools.
Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
1-year minimum of warehouse experience.
Must be able to work independently and also as a team.
Detail-oriented.
