Job description

Position Overview 

We are seeking a hands-on VDC Manager to lead MEP Revit modeling, BIM coordination, and team development across complex data center construction projects. This role will be responsible for producing and managing detailed Revit models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, driving clash detection and coordination efforts, and mentoring a team of BIM professionals. 

This is a hands-on Revit production role focused on mentoring and leading a team, building andmodifyingcoordinated models, working across disciplines, and producing construction-ready documentation used by field teams. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on Revit modeling for data center white space (MEP) systems on active construction projects  
  • Manage BIM coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, and model issue resolution across MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines  
  • Support project teams with installation-focused modeling, drawing production, and field coordination  
  • Develop and maintain BIM standards, QA/QC processes, templates, and coordination workflows  
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of BIM/Revit professionals  
  • Partner with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and clients to ensure BIM models support successful field execution  

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of BIM/Revit experience supporting MEP systems in construction or engineering environments  
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit and MEP BIM coordination  
  • Experience leading or mentoring BIM teams  
  • Data center, mission critical, or highly technical MEP project experience preferred  
  • Experience with Navisworks and clash detection workflows  
  • Experience creating custom Revit families for MEP systems 

This role is based out of our Plano officeand follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaborationon Tuesdays and Thursdays.
