Duties

Responsibilities include: Serves as a Maintenance Engineer within Halliburton’s Global Maintenance Engineering Team, supporting the company’s largest operational base in the Permian Basin. Role is centered on enhancing equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance strategies, and bridging the gap between engineering design, field execution, and business objectives. Lead and support the implementation of maintenance improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment between global strategy and local execution. Translate field insights into engineering actions to enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and optimize preventive maintenance programs. Collaborate closely with operations and local leadership to secure buy-in and ensure effective project deployment. Provide technical guidance and on-site support for maintenance technology trials and reliability-focused initiatives. Analyze maintenance performance data and develop recommendations to improve equipment availability and cost efficiency. Applying high class maintenance concepts over the local equipment.  

Requirements

Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Tech Prof Maintenance, Prin related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Experience with maintenance engineering principles, reliability engineering, and equipment lifecycle management.
  2. Experience in developing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  3. Experience in data analysis, root cause investigation, and performance monitoring of industrial equipment.
  4. Experience with oilfield equipment and systems, particularly within pressure pumping and heavy-duty engine for Cementing operations in oil Rigs.
  5. Experience in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data visualization tools.
  6. Experience with instrumentation, condition monitoring technologies, and digital maintenance systems.
  7. Experience with change management and facilitation to ensure smooth adoption of new maintenance processes.
  8. Experience planning, coordinating, and executing field trials and technical implementations.
  9. Experience documenting, reporting, and communicating results and recommendations to senior management.
