Job description

Behavior Technician (Break Coverage Position- Half day)

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Behavior Technician to provide multiple break coverage within our ABA center.
In this role, you will work with a variety of clients throughout the day, typically providing 30-minute coverage sessions while primary therapists take breaks. This position requires confidence working with different learners, the ability to quickly build rapport, and strong implementation of behavior support strategies. 
Position Details:

  • Approximately 3-4 hours of break coverage per day
  • Additional hours may be available for candidates seeking a larger schedule 
  • Work with multiple clients and treatment teams throughout the day
  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs as directed by the supervising BCBA
Requirements:

  • Strong behavior management and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different clients, programs, and environments
  • Excellent documentation skills, as each coverage session requires a session note
  • Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
  • Previous ABA experience preferred
