Job description

Fresh Location is a commissary division of The H.T. Hackney Co., dedicated to producing high-quality fresh products for distribution to convenience stores across the East Tennessee region. For over 134 years, The H.T. Hackney Co. has proudly served convenience store customers and remains a leader in creating innovative product offerings for our valued retail customers.

We are now accepting applications for Commissary Front Line position at our Roane County facility conveniently located off I-40 at Industrial Park Road, exit 362.

JOB DUTIES: What exactly will I be doing?

The H.T. Hackney Co. Commissary makes fresh items like parfaits, fruit cups, veggie cups, candy cups, salads, and snack trays. As a front-line employee, you’ll handle cleaning, prepping, assembling, and labeling these products for delivery to our convenience store customers. Everyone gets trained in each section of the department and is responsible for cleaning up their work area at the end of the day.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Monday - Friday. Shift start time approximately 5:30 am.
  • Shift length depends on sales volume. Don't worry-this is full-time employment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Committed to working safe
  • Desire to produce quality orders
  • Motivated to work efficiently and meet productivity goals
  • Enjoy being physically active while working, must be able to lift 35+ lbs.
  • Work area is refrigerated with temperatures between 33-45. Cold climate suit furnished.
  • Food safe environment-strict adherence to food safe work practices
  • Works well with others and likes to problem-solve
  • Dependable, punctual and work as scheduled-Good attendance is required
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen & physical
  • Must be 18+ for consideration
