Join Our Team as an XCEL Gymnastics Team Coach!

Are you passionate about gymnastics and love working with young athletes? G-Force Gymnastics Academy, located in Albuquerque, NM, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated XCEL Gymnastics Team Coach to help our athletes reach their full potential. If you have experience in gymnastics coaching and a desire to inspire, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As an XCEL Gymnastics Team Coach, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the skills and confidence of our athletes. Your coaching schedule would be Wednesday and Friday afternoons, Saturday mornings and all regular season meets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and developing gymnasts in the XCEL program, focusing on skill progression, technique, and safety.
  • Provide instruction in a positive manner to athletes based on the G-Force Gymnastics lesson plan outlines
  • Create a fun learning environment for team participants at varied levels of comprehension and ability so they can reach their full athletic potential
  • Ensuring equipment is safe and ready to use before an athlete uses it.
  • Preparing gymnasts for competitions, and coaching every meet during the season.
What We're Looking For

While we do provide on the job training for coaches, some basic requirements for coach applicants are:

  • At least 1 year of coaching experience with a competitive gymnastics team
  • Customer service mindset and great communication skills 
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly
  • Confidence in coaching large groups of athletes
  • Love of education and competitive sports
  • Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds, personalities, and ages
  • Be at least 18yrs of age with reliable transportation
  • Availability to work their set schedule year round
