Job description

Vander-Built, LLC is growing and I need another solid Lead Carpenter to join the crew!

We do a lot of residential and commercial work — framing, finish carpentry, remodels, decks, siding, roofing, you name it. We focus on doing the job right with good materials and clean work that actually lasts.

What we offer:

• Competitive pay

• Workers’ Comp coverage

• 401k

• Paid vacation

• Steady year-round work with a crew that actually cares about quality

Looking for a well-rounded carpenter who can do it all:

• 5+ years hands-on experience across all phases of carpentry (framing, finish work, trim, siding, roofing, decks, remodels, etc.)

• Able to lead a small crew, read plans, run jobs smoothly, and keep quality high

• Owns their tools and has reliable transportation

• Valid PA driver’s license

• Shows up on time, stays safe, drug-free, and takes real pride in the work

Here’s the deal — I’m not big on just taking someone’s word.

You’ll do a one-week paid working interview at minimum wage.

If it’s a good fit and we hire you as the lead, I’ll reimburse you the difference so that first week is paid at your full agreed-upon lead carpenter rate.

No bullshit stories, no “I’m the greatest” talk — just actual work. If it clicks and you’re the right guy, we bump you up to full pay and steady hours.

If you’re legit and tired of the same old crap on other crews, hit me up.

Just tell me a bit about your experience and why you think you’d be a good lead.

Serious people only — no time wasters.

Let’s build some good stuff together

Company Description
