Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Follow a daily assigned route within your territory
  • Prepare and install services such as: Attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, Gutter protection systems and Radiant heat barriers
  • Complete all required service-related documentation
  • Build trusted relationships and represent Orkin with pride
  • Work in a variety of environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces
  • Operate a company vehicle safely
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Prioritize safety in every aspect of the job, including equipment use, work environments, and customer interactions
  • Perform duties in all weather conditions

Qualifications
What do you need to be successful?
  • No Experience Required - we'll train you to be a Pro!
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers
  • We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.

What will my work environment be like?
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
