What is a gutter guard?

Gutter guards are protective systems designed to cover gutters and prevent leaves, debris, and other materials from clogging them. They help rainwater flow freely through the gutter system while minimizing the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance. Gutter guards come in various types, such as mesh screens, foam inserts, and surface tension units, each offering different levels of protection and installation methods. By preventing blockages, gutter guards can also help reduce water damage to your home’s roof, walls, and foundation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a gutter guard installer?

To thrive as a Gutter Guard Installer, you need a solid understanding of roofing and gutter systems, basic carpentry skills, and physical fitness, often supported by experience in construction or exterior home maintenance.
