Summary:

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for both sales and the flawless execution of catering orders within their designated territory. Reporting to the Director of Catering, working closely with the Operations team, this role ensures customer satisfaction from start to finish.


Responsible for:

Sales:

  • Client Relationships: Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients while identifying upsell opportunities to boost revenue.
  • New Business: Aggressively seek and secure new clients through various channels, including cold calls, networking events, and community involvement.
  • Inquiry Handling: Promptly and professionally handle all incoming catering inquiries, providing efficient guidance and transparent communication to clients.
  • Order Management: Review, finalize, all orders.

Operations:

  • Order Routing: Funnel catering orders to appropriate locations. If a shop does not have the capacity for seamless execution, step in to provide hands-on support if possible or re-route orders and ensure successful delivery and setup.
  • Team Communication: Proactively convey all catering requirements to Shop leaders and shop team members. Take an active role in troubleshooting and execution when teams are understaffed or facing other challenges.
  • Performance Review: Participate in monthly P&L reviews, identifying both areas for improvement and new opportunities for revenue growth or operational efficiencies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Brand Ambassador: Always uphold the brand’s image and values, whether interacting with clients or team members.
  • Community Support: Assist in community events that the restaurant or the base team is engaged in.
  • Flexibility: Availability for weekend and evening work may be required to meet business needs.


Qualifications:

  • Solid background in customer service, preferably in the catering or foodservice industry.
  • Reliable and consistently punctual.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and outside standard business hours as needed.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
  • Experience in a sales-focused role is beneficial.


Benefits:

  • Compensation: Base $50,000 - $55,000
  • Annual Bonus: $3000 (paid quarterly) (bonus based on achieving company-wide sales metrics)
  • Commission: 2% of catering sales at assigned shops, does not include third party orders (Eligible after 30 days of hire) Paid out at end of period, dates will vary based on payroll dates.
  • 15 days PTO annually
  • Health Benefits that include company contribution (Medical, Dental, Vision) 
  • Access to wages before payday
