Job description

Neave Group Outdoor Solutions, an award-winning company specializing in residential hardscape projects, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Foreman. This role involves overseeing the construction of swimming pools from start to finish in the Wappingers Falls, NY area. This is a year-round position offering the opportunity to be part of a team that values learning, growth, and advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire process of construction, from initial design to completion.
  • Collaborate with construction project managers and design team to review design, drawings, and contracts.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders.
  • Oversee excavation, installation of PVC, rebar, shotcrete, and equipment setup of pools.
  • Oversee installation of patios, walkways, stone walls, plantings, and yard install.
  • Read plans, measure, and layout hardscape features.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for time and materials used.
  • Coordinate, direct, and check the work of subcontractors.
  • Place product orders and troubleshoot any arising issues.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in building Gunite and Vinyl pools, and installing hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, and walls.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery; skid steers, excavators, loaders.
  • Must prioritize safety at all times.
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
