Job description

Emplify is seeking a full-time BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team serving our critical access hospitals. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a rural setting, where your expertise will make a direct impact on patients, families, and the communities we serve.

The Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions in the emergency department. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering compassionate, efficient care in a critical access environment.

Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital & Clinics- Boscobel, WI

Gundersen Moundview Hospital & Clinics - Friendship, WI

Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital & Clinics - West Union, IA

Gundersen St. Elizabeth's Hospital & Clinics- Wabasha, MN

Gundersen St. Joseph's Hospital & Clinics - Hillsboro, WI

Gundersen Tri-County Hospital & Clinics - Whitehall, WI

Physicians have flexibility in their practice across these locations, with the option to work at some or all sites based on scheduling preferences and organizational needs.

Experience in emergency medicine, rural medicine, or critical access hospitals a plus.

Shifts are 12 - 24hr shifts in rural ERs

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
