Job description

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.

As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. What's in it for you: Schedule: Availability to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off could vary and weekends are required.

This is a flex schedule. Hours are dependable on the site needs. Selected individual will be open to covering hours for site trainings and events, sometimes in an unarmed capacity.

The Flex Tactical Officer will work primarily as a armed Tactical Officer filling in schedule openings. Competitive hourly wage of $34.50/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) Maintain excellent marksmanship and weapon handling and retention skills. Regular live-fire training and qualifications along with live drill tactical scenario training. Must demonstrate proficiency in handgun operation, the ability to disassemble and reassemble a firearm Must have Situational Awareness, High Integrity, Physical Fitness, and Excellent Communication Excellent customer service is always your top priority.

Officers must be warm and approachable while staying vigilant-greeting and acknowledging visitors, customers, top clients, and executives, maintaining eye contact, and staying aware of all entrances and surroundings. You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location. You provide rapid response in critical situations.

You're great with reading and writing detailed reports. You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards. Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity Verify identities and control access to secure areas React quickly to threats or incidents Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras Document incidents and actions taken Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience with customer service At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite 3 or more years of US military (with honorable discharge) or US police officer experience is required.

2 or more years of verifiable armed DCJS experience required. Ability to multitask and synthesize large amounts of information quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills Have an active Armed DCJS with handgun endorsement Must be able to pass an extensive background check, online armed assessments, gun range assessment, drug and physical assessments, and various other trainings to be hired Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office. Must have soft skills and be able to manage various types of personalities.

Must consistently maintain an excellent uniform appearance. Must be able to pass a physical fitness test consisting of running, push ups, sit ups, and step ups.
