REV GUM is an Austin-based functional gum company moving at the speed of light. REV's mission is to revolutionize the gum category with a better-for-you and more convenient functional product that fuels the on-the-go lifestyle of today's active generation. REV GUM is sugar-free and packs as much energy as either a single or double shot of espresso while working 5x faster than any energy drink or shot.

We're undergoing massive growth and are looking for a dedicated individual who wants to be part of growing something great.

Primary Purpose

The Sales Operations and Insights Manager will be responsible for assisting the sales and operations teams with day-to-day execution of various sales-related activities. This person will also become the category expert on gum (and specifically functional gum) and will handle the reporting of our retail performance internally. The position will require a mental athlete: someone versatile, hard-working, dynamic, creative, and with a transformational mindset to help drive the strategy and coordination for this accelerating business.

Major Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Responsible for coordination between operations and sales teams on customer orders, volume status, and any issue resolution
  • Own all aspects of category management: learn and understand how to use retail data through Nielsen IQ, become an expert on category and competitive performance, and report/understand REV's performance at its various retailers to get ahead of any potential performance issues and/or take advantage of performance windfalls
  • Develop a monthly reporting cadence/suite to cascade retailer performance to our various team members
  • Assist in development of data-driven selling stories and customer meeting preparation
  • Assist both the sales and operations team in forecasting and budgeting
  • Assist the sales/operations team with trade-show preparation and execution
  • Assist in processing and tracking deductions
  • Assist the Head of Growth with eCommerce execution on Amazon and our other sites
  • Assist the Head of Growth with Social Media execution when needed
  • Assist the team with sampling or other community outreach activities
  • Assist the CEO & President with internal reporting and lead cross-functional meetings as needed
  • Assist the CEO & President with board meeting preparation

This role is expected to further development into a larger sales role in the next 12-18 months as this person developments the proper core competencies.
