Guidewire Developer

Onsite open Locations: Atlanta/Chicago/NYC/Toronto

NOTE:  We can submit between 2 to 15 plus years consultants 

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Integration Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire integration, Java/GOSU programming, and P&C Insurance (Policy, Claims, Billing). The role involves working with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter to design and deliver scalable integration solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Skills & Experience

·       Guidewire Integration Development experience

·       Knowledge of P&C Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Billing)

·       Java or GOSU programming expertise

·       Hands-on with J2EE, XML/Web Services, and RDBMS

·       Experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter

 

Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, test, and maintain GOSU-based Guidewire applications

·       Work with middleware platforms (WebSphere ESB, MuleSoft, WebMethods)

·       Handle data across flat files and relational systems

·       Manage code merges, environments, and Guidewire upgrades

·       Build reusable integrations ensuring scalability and loose coupling

·       Develop GUnit/JUnit tests and resolve defects during testing

·       Create batch processes, APIs, adapters, and plugin components

 

Additional Responsibilities

·       Work in Agile teams with version control and release management

·       Lead teams across onshore/offshore environments

·       Design architecture solutions and present estimates/options

·       Perform code reviews, cleanups, and sprint demos

·       Build multi-platform integrations using Java/GOSU

·       Develop complex integrations across multi-tier systems
