Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer with strong expertise in Rating to drive the implementation of Commercial Lines pricing solutions within a dynamic and collaborative environment. In this role, you will lead the design and configuration of rating components within Guidewire, including rate books, rate tables, and pricing algorithms, ensuring accurate and efficient premium calculations. You will work closely with actuarial teams to translate pricing models into scalable system configurations and collaborate with business analysts and product owners to refine requirements. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with regulatory and state filing requirements, optimizing rating performance, and troubleshooting complex rating related issues to maintain system reliability and accuracy.

Required Skill

  • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Rating or PolicyCenter Rating
  • Deep expertise in Commercial Lines rating including General Liability and Package policies
  • Proven experience in configuring rating components and implementing complex pricing logic
  • Good understanding of actuarial concepts and insurance pricing structures
