About the Role
An Assistant Guide supports the Lead Guide in a studio serving early learners (Pre-K through 1st grade). This is a hands-on, classroom-based role focused on supporting students, maintaining a strong and prepared environment, and learning the foundations of guiding. This role is ideal for individuals exploring a path in education or looking for meaningful part-time or full-time work in a classroom setting.
What You'll Do
- Support daily classroom activities, including work cycles, group time, and transitions
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students as they build foundational skills
- Help maintain a calm, organized, and prepared learning environment
- Reinforce studio systems, routines, and expectations with consistency
- Assist with classroom setup, materials, and daily operations
- Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a strong classroom culture

Qualifications
- No formal teaching experience required
- Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with young children in a structured environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20-25/hour
- Schedule:
- Full-time (8:00am-4:00pm), or
- Part-time (8:00am-4:00pm, 2-3 days a week)
- School-year position (August through end of May)
