Job Summary:
Esri is a leading company in geographic information system (GIS) software, and they are seeking a C++ Windows Developer II to join their software development team. The role involves developing editing tools for ArcGIS Pro, utilizing C++ and C#, and collaborating with other developers to enhance the software's capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Create ArcGIS Editor solutions for ArcGIS Pro, utilizing C++ and C#
• Develop and design asynchronous GUI as part of ArcGIS Pro
• Build software that follows industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
• Collaborate with other programmers and developers throughout the development process
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of experience building commercial enterprise software in C++
• Experience in asynchronous programming using the Task Parallel Library
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field
Preferred:
• Knowledge of DBMS
• Experience working with building software in C#
• Knowledge of MVVM application design pattern
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field
