Position Description: Service Assistant Job DescriptionReports to: General Manager/Department ManagerJob Summary:Our mission is to provide an innovative and entertaining dining experience which will compel ourguests to become raving fans and create brand loyalty. Join us as a guest, leave as a friend.The Service Assistant ensures that our Guests have an enjoyable dining experience byproviding quality customer service. Service Assistants work in the dining room maintaining andenhancing the quality of our customer service. The primary focus is assisting the Servers withfood running, table clearing, and guest service. You will work in close collaboration withcolleagues and follow established health and food safety standards Additional Information: Minimum Qualifications• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude• Able to stand for 10 hours• Able to lift at least 50 pounds• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication (with or without accommodation)• Must be able to read, write and speak in English• Must have reliable transportation• Basic computer usage skills• Must possess valid food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification ifrequired by state law• Compliance with our dress and appearance policy including black slip resistant shoesResponsibilities and Duties• This position requires attendance as scheduled and policy and procedure compliance.• Punch in, sign in, and report to the General Manager/Department Manager on timeand in full uniform for each shift. Obtain Manager's approval prior to punching out.• Perform dining room set-up, running side work and closing duties.• Serve guests according to service standards.• Participate in table and dining room clean up.• Maintain restaurant safety and sanitation.• Attend all employee meetings and share suggestions for improvement.• Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.• Must pass general information and departmental tests with a grade of 90% or higher.• Perform job functions with accordance to performance standards.• Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager/Department Manager.• Work with "team work" always in mind.
