Job Summary
Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the front-of-house ambassador and first point of contact for MGX's New York office. This role is responsible for delivering a professional, polished, and hospitality-driven experience for all visitors, employees, and stakeholders while ensuring seamless reception operations and communication flow.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a service-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while upholding MGX's high standards of excellence and brand representation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome all guests with genuine warmth, professionalism and efficiency ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for
  • Manage visitor access, registration, and badging in accordance with office protocols
  • Operate and manage the switchboard, handling incoming calls and inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Coordinate mail, courier services, and deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready reception area at all times
  • Serve as a central point of communication for front-of-house activities
  • Support meeting logistics, visitor coordination, and day-to-day office operations
  • Uphold MGX and Rapport brand standards through professional appearance, demeanor, and service delivery

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in reception, hospitality, or customer service roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional presentation with a polished and service-oriented demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
