What is a guest associate?

Guest Associates are professionals who assist and interact with guests in settings such as hotels, resorts, or customer service environments. Their main responsibilities include greeting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries, and providing information or services to ensure a positive guest experience. Guest Associates act as the first point of contact and play a key role in customer satisfaction, often resolving issues and coordinating with other staff to meet guest needs.

How does a guest associate typically collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience?

Guest Associates regularly work alongside housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams to ensure each guest's stay is smooth and enjoyable. This collaboration involves promptly communicating guest requests or concerns, coordinating room readiness, and sharing feedback to improve services. By working closely with other departments, Guest Associates help resolve issues quickly and contribute to a welcoming environment, making teamwork an essential part of the role.

Job description

Guest Service Associate (Seasonal)
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Schedule: Flexible | Full-Time & Part-Time Openings
Join our team and be part of a boutique hospitality experience where thoughtful service and genuine connection define every stay.
We're looking for Guest Service Associates who bring warmth, attention to detail, and a natural sense of care to everything they do. This is a seasonal role with flexible scheduling and opportunities for both part-time and full-time hours.
What You'll Do:
As a Guest Service Associate, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience—creating welcoming first impressions and memorable moments throughout each stay. Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting guests and managing check-in/check-out with ease and professionalism
  • Assisting with guest requests, recommendations, and local insights
  • Supporting breakfast or light food & beverage service (food handler certification required or willingness to obtain)
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and inviting public spaces
  • Collaborating with housekeeping and leadership teams to ensure seamless stays
  • Stepping in where needed during busy periods—this is a hands-on, team-first role
What We're Looking For:
  • A friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
Why Join Us:
  • Competitive seasonal pay ($18-$20/hour)
  • Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
  • A collaborative, close-knit team environment
  • The opportunity to be part of a unique, design-forward boutique hotel experience
If you love creating meaningful guest experiences and thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment, we'd love to meet you.
