Topa is looking for motivated Security Personnel to join our team in Rocanville. The successful candidate will be responsible for working casual with the Security team at Nutrien.

Position Title:Security Personnel

Location:Rocanville- Nutrien

Hours: Casual

Start Date:Immediate

Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

  • Manage access cards through the security computer system
  • Camera Surveillance
  • Monitor the telephone, transferring calls and using the paging system
  • Complete weekly fire alarm testing
  • Complete weekly inventory and unit checks
  • Monitor access gates and parking lots
  • Greet customer and register visitors as needed
  • Provide basic first aid
  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
  • Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises
  • Write daily reports and incident reports
  • Administer Drug and Alcohol Screening

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Security Guard License
  • First Aid level C with AED
  • Professional deportment
  • Proactive, attention to detail, self-motivated and team player
  • Above average written, oral communication and computer skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Previous experience in security (asset)
  • Must pass a drug and alcohol test
