Job Description

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and property. This includes patrolling the store premises, monitoring surveillance footage, and responding to any security-related incidents or emergencies. The Security Guard will also be responsible for enforcing store policies and procedures, as well as helping to prevent theft and other criminal activity.

You will automatically be scheduled for the following events also:

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol the store premises to ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and property.

  • Monitor surveillance footage and respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies.

  • Enforce store policies and procedures, including those related to theft prevention and loss prevention.

  • Assist with the investigation of thefts and other security-related incidents.

  • Document and report any security-related incidents or emergencies.

  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment

  • Must have an ACTIVE BSIS security guard card.

  • MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY

  • MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
