Job description

AutoStore holds a simple yet powerful vision: to store and move things for everyone, everywhere. Founded in Norway, we've grown into a global technology company. AutoStore uses advanced software to automate and orchestrate order fulfillment. Our goal is to ensure orders arrive faster than ever, with minimal environmental impact. That's how we help brands exceed customer expectations.

We have more than 1600 systems in nearly 60 countries, and we grow continuously as a community of employees, partners, customers, suppliers, and connected technologies. Automation should make life easier, and by listening carefully to our community, we innovate to meet the industry's most complex needs. With AutoStore, brands gain speed, efficiency, and improved workplaces. And much more floor space.

AutoStore - moving things forward.

The Role:

Parts of the commercial experience still rely on manual workflows, repeated handoffs, and individual follow-up. We see a significant opportunity to simplify that experience and build a faster, more visible, AI-enabled operating model.

This is a transformation leadership role with real builder energy.

You will take momentum already underway, sharpen the future state, and build the operating models, workflows, capabilities, and strategies needed to make it real at scale.

A major part of that mandate will be evolving Sales Support into a more modern, responsive, data-driven, and AI-enabled capability. You will also help shape and scale high-impact commercial acceleration initiatives across our installed base, customer lifecycle, and partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities: Modernize the Sales Support experience
  • Understand how work happens today across request intake, case management, PO processing, booking support, shipment coordination, issue resolution, and internal handoffs.

  • Identify where manual effort, fragmented workflows, unclear ownership, or limited visibility create friction for sellers, partners, and customers.

  • Define and drive the future state through clearer intake models, process standards, service levels, escalation paths, and performance visibility across backlog, SLA performance, cycle time, quality, and rework.

  • Help evolve Sales Support into a premium operating capability that sellers and partners trust because it is responsive, visible, consistent, and easy to work with.

Make AI and agentic workflows real

  • Turn business friction into practical, high-value use cases.

  • That could include intelligent case intake, AI-assisted triage, PO validation, knowledge assistants, case summarization, proactive alerts, shipment visibility, partner self-service, and agentic workflows that coordinate routine tasks and actions across systems.

  • Partner with IT, Data, BI, Product, and Sales Operations to shape requirements, evaluate solutions, prioritize the roadmap, and support implementation.

  • Every initiative should be tied to measurable outcomes such as speed, quality, adoption, productivity, and user experience.

  • AI here is a practical tool to remove friction and help people do their best work, not technology for its own sake.

Shape and scale commercial acceleration initiatives

  • Partner with the VP, Commercial Acceleration and senior business leaders to shape a small number of high-impact growth initiatives across AutoStore's installed base, customer lifecycle, and partner ecosystem.

  • Help take ideas from opportunity to field execution through opportunity framing, segmentation, value proposition, seller motion, partner role, enablement, governance, and success measures.

  • Create repeatable playbooks that help sellers and partners understand who to target, why it matters, what to do next, and how progress will be tracked.

  • The goal is not to own every commercial idea. It is to help identify the right opportunities and turn them into scalable, executable motions.

Lead cross-functional transformation

  • Influence stakeholders across Sales, Sales Support, Sales Operations, Partner Management, Customer Success, Finance, Supply Chain, Product, IT, BI, and regional field organizations.

  • Create clarity where ownership is unclear.

  • Build trust with frontline teams while raising the bar on speed, accountability, and execution quality.

  • Help teams adopt new ways of working through practical change leadership, clear communication, and consistent operating discipline.

Key Qualifications:

  • A track record of leading meaningful transformation and building new capabilities and strategies with measurable business impact.

  • Experience leading high-ambiguity, cross-functional work from problem framing through execution, decisions, and adoption.

  • Hands-on GTM, commercial, revenue operations, sales operations, or transformation experience where speed, quality, visibility, and stakeholder experience were critical.

  • Experience modernizing manual, fragmented, or email-heavy workflows into structured, scalable, technology-enabled operations.

  • Working knowledge of AI, automation, and agentic workflows, with the judgment to identify practical use cases that create real business value.

  • The ability to translate business friction into practical requirements for systems, workflows, dashboards, and AI-enabled capabilities.

  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems, build clear narratives, frame tradeoffs, and drive alignment.

  • The ability to lead through influence in a global, matrixed environment while building trust with frontline teams.

  • Strong analytical judgment and comfort using operational and commercial data to make decisions.

  • The ability to move comfortably between strategy, process, systems, and execution.

  • A mindset that combines transformation leadership with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and build when needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

We Offer:
