To succeed as a GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in security or risk management, often supported by relevant experience or certifications such as CPP or Security+/. Proficiency in security monitoring tools, incident management systems (such as Lenel, Genetec, or Everbridge), and familiarity with video surveillance and alarm systems is essential. Excellent communication, rapid problem-solving, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are key soft skills for this role. These competencies are crucial for ensuring timely detection, assessment, and response to security threats and incidents in complex corporate environments.
