Overview

Regional Growth Leader, Great Lakes and Central Regions – Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS), US


The Regional Growth Leader will report to the Regional President with a dotted line to the Chief Growth Officer and will play an instrumental role in driving regional sales growth, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability and supporting the success of regional and branch leadership teams.  The Regional Growth Leader will focus on training, coaching and implementing strategies to enhance sales performance and optimize the use of tools and resources across all business lines, including Benefits, Talent and Financial solutions.


How you'll make an impact

Key Responsibilities:

Culture Leadership

  • Act as a role model and advocate for the company’s culture, promoting collaboration, innovation and accountability across the region.
  • Inspire and motivate regional and branch leadership teams to align with the company’s mission, values and growth objectives.

Sales Leadership & Accountability

  • Take ownership of regional sales results, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and revenue targets.
  • Partner with regional and branch leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive measurable sales growth.
  • Monitor and manage the regional sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress toward achieving key performance metrics.

Training & Development

  • Train and coach regional leadership teams on effective sales management, client engagement and business development strategies across all business lines.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to train producers on advanced sales processes, techniques and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to leadership teams and producers to enhance their skills and performance.

 Best Practices & Tools Utilization

  • Teach and promote best practices for sales management client engagement, and pipeline optimization.
  • Ensure the effective use of GBS tools and resources to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Areas of Focus

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Support regional and branch teams in optimizing pipeline visibility, forecasting and conversion rates.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Implement structured processes to improve efficiency and consistency in sales activities.

Sales Management: Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective management of sales teams and individual producers.


About You

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the employee benefits, insurance or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits solutions, including Benefits, Talent and Financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor leadership teams and producers to achieve their full potential.
  • Expertise in sales process development, training and implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, identify trends and implement actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration across regional and branch leadership teams.



Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
